At Lincoln UTC, we have enjoyed a successful first half term of this academic year. In September, we welcomed our largest cohort of year 10 and year 12 students to date and it is pleasing to see them settling in well. In such a short amount of time, our new students have embraced life at the UTC and become valued members of our community.

We hosted two successful Open Evenings in September and October to provide the opportunity for our prospective applicants to visit the UTC. Feedback was very positive, with many parents highlighting the confidence, enthusiasm and maturity of our student ambassadors. At this early stage, we have already received an unprecedented number of applications for the 120 spaces available in year 10 next September, which is a testament to the growing popularity of the UTC. We are now oversubscribed and operating a waiting list for year 10 entry.

Applications are still open to join us in year 12. In September 2022, Lincoln UTC will become the only provider in Lincolnshire to offer a T Level in Engineering. This course will expand on current Post-16 option choices, which include a range of STEM-based A Levels and a Level 3 BTEC in engineering. If you would like more information, we will be hosting our next Open Event on Saturday the 13th of November from 10am-2pm.

We hope that all of our students and their parents/carers enjoy the two-week half term break. We look forward to starting next term on Monday 1st November.
